The power struggle between Nicolás Maduro and Juan Guaidó continues. Several EU states and the United States support Guaidó. Maduro rejects this as interference and accuses Guaidó of violating the constitution. Demonstrations are held in support of Maduro in Mexico and Venezuela. Military officers also support Maduro. Many of Guaidó’s supporters gather in Caracas.
