The rebels in Libya continue to fight and express confidence of victory. Gaddafi supporters continue to defend the cities of Bani Walid, Sebha, and Syrte with snipers and rockets. The city of Bani Walid is particularly hard-fought. But Gaddafi wants to hold the city, no matter what the cost. The rebels’ attempt to capture the city fails. They have advanced to the city center and are then pushed back to the outskirts by snipers.
